This model depicts the Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) building (formerly called Walt Disney Feature Animation) in Burbank, California. This is where many of the traditional, hand-drawn animated features were produced in the past twenty years before the switch to CG animation. After a five year hiatus, in 2009 "The Princess and the Frog" marked Disney's return to the older animation technique. WDAS shares a plot of land alongside the 134 freeway with the ABC Television Building. The architecture is meant to reflect the original Kem Weber-designed Animation Building across the street, where classics like "Bambi" and "Sleeping Beauty" were created. Architect, Robert A. M.
