The Queensboro Bridge, or the 59th Street Bridge, is a cantilever bridge located over the East River in New York City. The bridge connects the neighborhoods of Long Island City and Manhattan, passing over Roosevelt Island. It carries New York State Route 25. The bridge was designed by Gustav Lindenthal in collaboration with Leffert L. Buck and Henry Hornbostel.
