The Flames play NCAA Division I-AA Football on the Field Turf of Williams Stadium. The 12,000-seat stadium is named in honor of Art and Angela Williams, special friends of Liberty University and Flames Athletics. In 1989, the Flames played their first football game in 17 years on their own campus before a record crowd of 12,750. A new Field Turf surface was installed in 2006. *Note: Click on the building name under "My Places" in Google Earth to see an actual image of the structure, along with more information.*
