This file contains images from 1919-1920 of the original elevations of the Tatlin Tower - Monument to the Third International; 4m scale model also from 1920, (about 1/100th scale: The tower's full height scales up to be almost 450m in height - around the height of the Sears Tower in Chicago). Also included are images of the model and drawings of the 1991 recreation of the model, and images of assorted study models from both periods. A color close-up of the detailed MIT proposed model created around 2004 is also included. See also 'Tatlin's Tower Short Film'/ 'TORRE TATLIN' http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=ES&hl=es&v=3bTqknmlB0U With this information you can try and create a much more accurate model to share and supplement the current models on 3D Warehouse for Google Earth (Moscow/ St. Petersburg) that are somewhat simplified: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=fce07ec253a2ca6457e642c7166e125a&prevstart=0 *** An additional challenge would be to work out the design for the assigned uses (program) of the four primary shapes/ massings, and propose how it all could have worked.
