In 1982 lukang Assembly Hall was established as the public assembly place. After World War Π,the assembly hall was renamed to “Zhong Shan Hall”and designated as the county monument by the government on July 14,200.At that time Lukang Assembly Hall was the largest hall architecture of Western design in Lukang. The post and beam system of this architecture was based on reinforced concrete structure. The framework of the roof was constructed by wood and steal trusses,and the top of the roof was paved with cement tiling
