William Zeckendorf Jr. and architects Davis, Brody & Associates completed this project in 1988, when this area was still a no-man's land. For the water-tank enclosure connoisseurs, this tower has one of the prettiest. It is a very modern "pneumatic" tower, with an octagonal shape that is the perfect cap. One of the few aluminum-clad towers in the city, Central Park PLace houses 274 Residential units over commercial space on the ground level. Central Park Place has fantastic views of Central Park.
