This heavily modified cargo tug was taken over by pirates who repurposed the ship's outsized reactor to power an array of 12 Ion cannons instead of the tug's tractor beam. Model features a full interior including bunks for 40 pirates, the captain's quarters, 2 airlocks, a detailed bridge, cargo bay, and reactor room. There is an animated tour that shows off some of the highlights of the interior. Enjoy!
The tug, originally crewed by 6 now sports a compliment of 41 pirates. In battle, the Ion cannons are used to disable the pirates prey, while a swarm of pirates emerge from the airlocks behind the cover of the ship's improvised armor, and move to board the target.
Surviviors of the pirate attack are generally pressed into service to replace dead crewmen, sold into slavery, or forced into an airlock and ejected into space. (The space pirate equivilant of walking the plank.) Cargo and fuel salvaged from the captured ship is brought aboard resupply the Silver Skull.
