The main branch of the Carnegie Institute and Library, Carnegie Museum of Natural History and Carnegie Museum of Art are located in the building of the Oakland neigborhood in Pittsburgh, PA. Built in classical architecture, the main library opened in 1985, funded by local industrialist Andrew Carnegie. In the late 20th century, Pittsburgh funded a modern addition to accomodate the library and museum's growing collections. Model by Alex Juhola.
