*IMPORTANT NOTE* For full viewing pleasure, please download and copy the other component (Upper half of the Ship) Into this component. Join both components in the "Help Scene". This part of the model contains all the scenes. I had to split it up in two components because of the 12MB size of the entire Model...
The "Papenburg" was never built, I made it up from my imagination, giving it the name of my hometown. It is based on real steam ships from the early 20th century. It has 7 Decks, lots of passenger cabins (of which some are equipped with furniture, please check the scenes) in 1st, 2nd and 3rd class, engine and boiler rooms, bridge, crew mess and much more. I did not focus ont the engineering (I am not an engineer, so please forgive errors), but more on the interior design. Hardest part of modeling was keeping the areas of 1st, 2nd and 3rd class separated, but allowing free deck access for all...
Some additional hints for viewing: red floors are crew areas, grey floors are cargo and other storage, most of 3rd class passenger area has a greenish floor, 2nd class passenger areas mostly have a pale brown carpet, and first class areas have various floor, but can be easily identified anyway.
Oh, and thanks to Eneroth3 for providing the steam engine, I had to edit it a bit for this model, so it doesn't automatically link you as original creator :/
