(c) Generalfeldmarschall - Named after one of the historical city gates of Berlin, this elevated station was built as part of the first U-Bahn line that ran from Stralauer Tor to Zoologischer Garten, opened in February 1902. The station was damaged by bombing during WW2, and was rebuilt in the following years, although the basic structure from 1902 was preserved.
