Engine house and hydraulic pump which used to operate North Dock in Llanelli. Built 1900 to work capstans, cranes, swing bridge, and dock gates. Now operating as restaurant "Sosban", a reference to the historical importance of tinplate in the history of Llanelli. "Sosban Fach" is a Welsh folksong. Llanelli at the end of the 1800's was nick-named Tinopolis.
