The bench is made in the craftsman style with tapered legs to add a little sophistication and keep from damaging the back wall; through mortise and tenon throughout with ebony plugs in the Green and Greene style (not shown) at each joint – primarily for aesthetics. This particular bench was designed specifically to fit two Black Walnut book-matched slabs 2” thick used for the seats.
