MODEL SHOWN AS OF: 3/5/11 The WTC Number 1 Subway Box, also known as the Greenwich Street Corridor, is a long structure that was built in 2007 on the World Trade Center Site as covering for the Subway lines that run though the underground section of the World Trade Center. This was intended to be a temporary structure, with plans to be covered with metal and concrete for the newly paved Greenwich Street in 2013. Currently, the No. 1 Subway Box is being replaced with metal and support beams to make way for the new World Trade Center Transportation Hub. I will be updating this model every other month until the New World Trade Center is complete.
