Designed by Howard Duffy From: New York City, United States Shelter location: United States Date submitted: July 2, 2009 Prefabricated design of a single-user shelter. The Shelter is comprised of several elements which include and foundation pylon with integrated entry, a wood and aluminum composite 'structural basket', the integral sleeping and reading assembly, laminate glass with internal dot-screen layer for filtering UV light, as well as an oculus that lets in roof light while keeping water out.
