The Wyoming State Capitol is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming and is the seat of government for the state of Wyoming. The building was built between 1886 and 1890 and was authorized by the Ninth Territorial Legislature Assembly, which specified that the cost should not exceed $150,000 dollars. The original cornerstone contained maps and a roster of territorial officers.
