Constructed in 1997, the new library facility holds books moved out of Parks Library at Iowa State University to make room for more seating. Particularly, some of the less frequently used books in Parks Library were moved to this 15,000-square-foot storage building. On south and slightly east of the building was the previously existed Pammel Court Grocery that served the Pammel Court Residence complex from 1947 to 2004. This model was completed by Wenying Sun.
