The Roman villa at the Weilberg was discovered in 1981 during the land consolidation. The estate from the 2.-4. Century is particularly known for the Roman wine press. The property consisted of a 104m long mansion (later extended to 150m), a roman bath, a cemetery and numerous outbuildings. The complex was destroyed in the middle of the 4th Century probably by the Alemanni. Today, the wine press and parts of the mansion are covered by protective shelters. Each year at the end of June, there is a wine festival 'Weinfest an der Römerkelter'.
