Dorset House is home to The School of Services Management. Residing in the centre of the Talbot Campus, the building contains a number of teaching rooms and offices. An extension to the building is the 120 seat Allsebrook Lecture Theatre, which is often used for open day presentations and theatre performances due to its lighting and sound facilities.
The Sir Michael Cobham Library is situated next to Dorset House in the centre of the Talbot Campus. The library is one of the newest additions to the campus and its architecture reflects this. The building is octagonal in shape, and is illuminated at night by up-lighting on each side, making it an incredibly prominent feature of the campus. The library houses the majority of the University's collection of books and academic journals, and is also open for public use. In this building the University’s IT services office and Learning Support Centre can be found.
