Steinerne Brücke is Germany's oldest surviving stone bridge (built 1135-1146). From here you have the most beautiful view of the city's medieval skyline. At the time it was built, this bridge was the only safe and fortified crossing along the entire length of the Danube, and it was the only bridge across the Danube for several hundred years. Old town of Regensburg is also a world heritage:
