Designed by Amaury Perez From: Torreon, Mexico Shelter location: Mexico Date submitted: August 11, 2009 The Shelter was inspired by the study of the fruits shapes, and the great variety of existing trees in the jungle. It is a 3-meter spherical shape structure, it was completed in the Mayan style by adding an attached bed and a chair. The materials belong to the region. The bed was made of wood and a fiber-based material called Petate. The shelter has the ability to hang from trees and create security, its simplicity separates it from pyramids volumes.
