This Reference Design uses a pair of speaker enclosures for the KAYUMA ToolKit and a satellite panel (to bring the speaker channel wire from the ToolKit). The size and internal structure is designed using Martin J. King's Quarter-Wave Loudspeaker Design theory to extend bass and increase efficiency. MOREL speaker drivers were used because of their exceptional power handling ability. The frequency response is 40Hz to 20KHz +/-3dB. The ToolKit's amplifier is upgraded to 160 WPC provide a SPL of 120dB. Notice the KAYUMA Wanda sitting atop the unit-- it recharges by being placed atop the unit. We'd love you to buy it. Or buy just the ToolKit and build this design. Better yet, design your own enclosure (we can help) and share it. Better still, build your design. Test it. Perfect it. Build more and sell them. It is a movement. A citizens cooperative. The idea is to bring a set of online tools to people worldwide to become participating citizens, in solving problems themselves with a community of like minded people. KAYUMA is a member owned open-source platform (hardware and software) bringing a life-like audio/video experience when interacting online with other KAYUMA citizen cooperative members with applications for working, learning, playing, searching for answers, and generally participating in making a difference.
