The Wells Fargo Center consists of two towers. The Wells Fargo Tower and the KPMG Tower. 723 feet high 54 floors high and 560 feet high 45 stories high. The Plaza was originally the Crocker Center in the 1980's, Although the North Tower was the Wells Fargo Tower, the South was the IBM Plaza, today the Plaza has been renamed the Wells Fargo Center and the IBM Plaza was been renamed the KPMG Tower. The Wells Fargo Tower is seen as one of Downtown's most prominent towers, due to the fact that its constructed on top of Bunker Hill, making it look like LA's 3rd Tallest, when its really the 7th, same with the KPMG Tower, 8th, but really the 17th tallest. Both Towers completed in 1983, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, owned by Maguire Properties Inc. In December 2004, a helicopter crash lands on the roof of the Wells Fargo Tower, no one was hurt.
