The "Diamond Gate Bridge" was built between 2009 and 2010. It links the city Phnom Penh with the Diamond Island which lies in the river Mekong.
The bridge gained fame in 22. November 2010 after it broke out a stampede that killed 347 people. In January 2012 the bridge was demolished as a consequence of the disaster of november 2010.
