The new administrative building for the Quabbin Regional School District is a 7800-sf, single-story, wood- and steel-framed structure on a full, heated, accessible basement. The site is located three miles from the center of Barre, Massachusetts, adjacent to an existing High School. It has parking space for 37 vehicles and is served by municipal water and sewer. This is a publicly funded building, which has achieved a high performance in spite of being constructed within the Massachusetts public bid law requirements.
