This building houses the Metropole store on Collins avenue. It was designed in the 1950s, and some Art Deco influences have been used. The decorations beneeth the windows on the front are very common on this kind of MiMo buildings. It is very similar to the building at 750 Collins ave. This building has one eyebrow, which is places as a sunroof above the porch. THe dcorations are fairly sober. There are only minor decorations in MiMo style on the front, and none around the rest of the structure. Date of construction: 1952
