the Katana series of starfighters are the Imperium Galactica´s primary space superiority fighter/attack craft. Capable of deep space and atmospheric flight, the Katana is a single-seat craft mounting two kinetic energy weapons, as well as having hardpoints beneath the wings for mounting missiles, munitions pods and other ordnance. The Katana has sublight engines only, but for special missions can be eqquiped with a FTL Drive module for small Hyper-jumps.
