This 21 story skyscraper in Chicago, Il (formerly called the State of Illinois Building) currently houses the state government annex. It was renamed in 2003 to honor the Supreme Court Justice Michael A. Bilandic. The courtyard was filled in with the glass portion of the building during a rennovation in 1989 - 1992. The large sculpture "Free Form" hangs above the main entrance and was made by Richard Hunt. The builidng was designed by the Burnham Brothers & Holabird and Root. Modeled by Mason Thrall.
