The building was constructed in the years 1974/75 in the style of postmodern. Between 2000 and 2002 the existing office building was refurbished to optimise its properties related to building physics. The operating architects were Vasko & Partner. The new appearance of the building is now characterized by six additional floors and an elliptical floor plan. The Galaxy Tower is a twenty-one-storey building and with its new shape a very remarkable one. Its glass architecture allows an impressive panorama of Vienna. The surface of the building contains different materials such as stone, aluminium and glass. Modelled by: Sabine Gangl
