Cockatoo Island tents, fully equipped and available for overnight stays. For the best viewing experience in Google Earth select Tools/Options/General and turn off Building Highlights. Cockatoo Island is the biggest island in Sydney Harbour. In the past it was used as a prison, industrial school and shipyard. The first dry dock was built by convicts and completed in 1857. The shipyard ceased operation in 1992 and the island was added to the World Heritage List in July 2010. It is currently one of the sites used by the Biennale of Sydney, a contemporary visual arts event held every two years. Modelled by Peter Olsen, Brighton-le-Sands, Sydney, Australia.
