Baroque Palace is a building located in Union Square in Timisoara. Historical Timeline: 1733 originally housed the Office Equipment; 1735 here worked Military pay; Up in 1848 was the headquarters of Timis County; Between 1849 - 1860 there was installed Serb leadership of Vojvodina and Banat; 1861 - 1918 has become the headquarters of Timis County; Until 1944 there has Prefecture Timis county-Torontal; Between 1944 - 1958 hosted the command of Soviet troops stationed in the city; -For a short time was the headquarters of Agronomic Institute; -Currently Palace Museum of Art hosts Timisoara
