Description [MODEL UPDATED ON 9/10/11]. The east area of the World Trade Center, also known as the "East Bathtub" is a space in which the former WTC 5 and 4 stood. Construction work are underway to install steel for the new 3 WTC and WTC Transportation Hub. Meanwhile, steel and concrete are being erected for the foundation of the 2 WTC. As of 9/10/11, 3 sub-floors have been completed on the future 2WTC site, allowing work for the last subfloor (B1 level) to be underway. As of 9/10/11, the first sub-floor of the Transportation Hub is completed. As of 9/10/11, the 3WTC's core rose above street level, with steel underway soon. [MODEL SHOWN AS OF 7/28/11]. As of 7/28/11, concrete pours have began on the Transportation Hub site, which will eventually form the foundation. As of 7/28/11, concrete, steel, and began to form the central core of the future 3WTC, which has been rising since mid-May.
