Das Bremer Weserstadion ist die Spielstätte des SV Werder Bremen. Der Umbau des Bremer Weserstadions zur reinen Fußballarena soll spätestens Ende 2009 fertiggestellt sein. Nach dem Umbau hat das Stadion dann eine neue Fassade, die eine Solaranlage enthält. Die Anzahl der Zuschauerplätze wird nach dem Umbau weiterhin bei etwa 43.000 liegen.
