Thanks for downloading Google SketchUp 6 for Windows. We hope the download process was simple and straightforward.

  1. If a small notification window appeared on your computer that said, "Would you like to run or save this file?", the download was successful. If you didn't see the notification window, or you believe the download was unsuccessful, click here to try downloading again.

  2. Once you're sure the SketchUp installer file has successfully downloaded onto your computer, you're ready to install Google SketchUp (Free). Simply locate the installer file on your computer (it's probably on your Desktop) and double-click it to begin the installation process.

  3. Follow the instructions on your screen to finish installing Google SketchUp (Free).

  4. When the installation process is complete, you should see a SketchUp application icon (it looks like a little house) on your Desktop. Double-click it to launch SketchUp. You're done!

Google SketchUp 6 (Free) is a fully-functional program that you can use to build 3D models. It includes a subset of the features of SketchUp Pro 6, the professional version of our software.
