SketchUp Pro Educator License
Educators can request full-featured SketchUp Pro licenses for their personal computers at
no cost.
Important Information
- You must be an educator at an accredited educational institution.
- You must also provide a current faculty ID, course syllabus, or other similar document.
- Educator Licenses are free Google SketchUp Pro licenses that expire.
- Educator Licenses issued before April 1st expire June 30th of the
same year.
- Educator Licenses issued after April 1st expire June 30th of the
next year.
- Educator Licenses can be upgraded to the newest version for free.
- The same Educator License can be installed on both your desktop and laptop computers.
- Educator Licenses can not be used for commercial (for-profit) work of any kind.
Requesting an Educator License
To request an Educator License, please apply through an Educational
Reseller. Please note that you will be directed away from the SketchUp website to
an Educational Reseller for the application process.
