Who qualifies?
Google SketchUp Pro Image-Installed Laptop Licenses are available to accredited educational institutions for use in instructional settings. In addition, community centers, non-profit museums, public libraries, correctional facilities and other not-for-profit organizations with instructional facilities may qualify.
We regret that educational institutions and not-for-profit organizations who would like to use Google SketchUp Pro for any purpose other than teaching students do not qualify for educational pricing. This includes school, hospital and religious organizations' facilities departments.

How much does a Google SketchUp Pro Image-Installed Laptop License cost?
The cost of the license is determined by the number of laptops on the network. We offer a linear discount from 10% to 50% off the base price of $39 per laptop, per year. Each additional laptop increases the discount incrementally. For quantities exceeding one thousand laptops, the total price of the license is capped at the price of one thousand laptops.

When do Image-Installed Laptop Licenses expire?
Image-Installed Laptop Licenses expire on one of two dates, depending on when the license was generated:
- Licenses purchased Jan 1st through July 31st expire on July 31st of the next year
- Licenses purchased Aug 1st through Dec 31st expire on Dec 31st of the next year
How do Image-Installed Laptop Licenses work?
Image-Installed Laptop Licenses are intended for installation on computers in an image-installed laptop network situation. An image-installed laptop network is one wherein:
- All laptops are configured from an operating system and software "master image" built by your IT department, your laptop vendor, etc.
- Users don't install software titles individually; everything is pre-installed on the laptops when they are given to students and faculty
Schools that purchase an Image-Installed Laptop License will receive a single Google SketchUp Pro license that can be used to authorize all of the laptops in their program. This license is intended to be part of a master image that is installed on each laptop.
What if the computers in my laptops program aren't image-installed?
If the computers in your laptop program are not image-installed, please read about our Non-Image-Installed Laptop Licensing; this may better suit your requirements.
What if I have both Windows and Macintosh computers in my laptop program?
Separate licenses are required for Windows and Macintosh computers, but the cost of the licenses will take into account the overall quantity of laptops in your program. For example, if you buy licenses for 200 Windows and 200 Macintosh laptops, you will receive the volume discount for 400 machines.
How are Education Licenses different from regular commercial licenses?
Like all of our educational licenses, our Image-Installed Laptop License and our regular commercial license work exactly the same; we haven't put any limitations on printing, saving, or anything else. The only difference is that Image-Installed Laptop Licenses expire, while commercial licenses don't.

Are Google SketchUp Pro Image-Installed Laptop License holders eligible for free technical support?
License administrators with active Google SketchUp Pro Image-Installed Laptop Licenses are eligible for free email technical support. Please note that free email technical support is available only to the license administrator; students and faculty who use Google SketchUp Pro on individual laptops are not eligible for this service.
