Build 3D Models build great 3D models with SketchUp. Visit our gallery to see examples. Model Types There are two types of 3D SketchUp models - geo-referenced and non-geo-referenced. A geo-referenced model is a building or other real-world object which has been accurately located in Google Earth and published to the 3D Warehouse.
Non-geo-referenced models can be buildings that are planned or envisioned but not yet built, but are generally objects used in the creation of a 3D model. Examples include things like trees, people, automobiles, and building products.
