Once a model is produced in SketchUp the creator clicks "Capture in ICEvision." They then produce a guided fly-through of the space with annotations or simply publish an interactive self-guided tour. It is saved on a secure ICEvision website from where the creator can share the design with clients, colleagues or friends via a link. The recipient does not require any software or Google SketchUp to view the ICEvision model. No one viewing the model can tamper with the design and the creator can choose to limit viewers or make it widely available. Downloads typically take two minutes or less.

4D Virtual Builder for SketchUp
Last updated: March 2011
4D Virtual Builder for SketchUp, making 4D modeling easy.
As construction projects become larger and more complex, the need for optimized collaboration and communication as well as process visualization increases. Appropriate but rather complex techniques like 4D/5D visualization should therefore be applied right from the start and the earliest design phases of the project. D-studio’s 4D Virtual Builder for SketchUp simplifies this process of 4D modeling significantly and this opens the door to real integration and collaboration and the first steps towards BIM.
With the 4D Virtual Builder one creates simple or more complex 4D models entirely in Google SketchUp. This way one can navigate through space as well as through time, showing the full construction process step-by-step. The construction sequence can be analyzed, alternative scenario’s checked and shared with whomever concerned. To create a model, just select a SketchUp entity, select the task and link it together. It’s as simple as that.
4D Virtual Builder models can be based on 3D models or 2D drawings. Tasks from all major scheduling software can be linked directly to SketchUp objects as to visualize all planning modifications immediately. It’s interactive and user friendly interface gets you started in no time. To facilitate report production, PowerPoint presentation, series of images and 4D texts are generated automatically.

IFC2SKP works inside SketchUp and has the ability to load IFC datafrom popular BIM (CAD) applications such as Revit, ArchiCAD and Microstation. The plug-in will not only load the geometry or object data into SketchUp from the IFC file format but it will also display the BIM data of each imported objects. IFC2SKP has been updated to work in SketchUp 8.

PolyTrans 3D Pro File Conversion System
Last updated: November 2009
Okino's PolyTrans 3D professional conversion system for SketchUp intelligently and robustly translates native SketchUp files to/from almost every major 3D CAD, DCC, animation and VisSim program, such as: 3ds Max (via PolyTrans-for-3dsMax), Maya (via PolyTrans-for-Maya), ACIS SAT, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA v4, CATIA v5, Collada, DirectX, DXF/DWG, DWF-3D (AutoCAD and Revit), Electric Image FACT, ESRI, FBX, IGES, HOOPS HSF, JT, Lightwave, OpenFlight, OpenGL, Parasolid, PDB, PLY, Pro/Engineer, QD3D, Rhino, Softimage (XSI), Solid Edge, SolidWorks, STEP, STL, Shockwave-3D, trueSpace, U3D, Viewpoint VET, VRML1+2+X3D, XAML-3D, Wavefront OBJ and others (some formats are unidirectional). Okino's conversion system is and has been the key reference-implementation tool for repurposing all major CAD/MCAD, DCC and VisSim content for SketchUp users.

NuGraf Rendering, Scene Manipulation and Data Optimization System
Last updated: November 2009
Okino’s NuGraf software has long been a staple rendering, scene manipulation and data optimization product for our professional 3D user base. It is a super-set of all the Okino PolyTrans 3D conversion functionality, including the very robust and fully implemented SketchUp conversion system. NuGraf allows bidirectional conversion of very large and complex scenes to/from SketchUp, after which the scenes can be composed, optimized, manipulated, shaded/textured and output using production worthy scanline or ray-trace renderers. Built-in functionality also includes high quality polygon reduction (with 80% average reduction for most models), hierarchy and parts count optimization, mesh optimization, material and texture editing, perspective matching, a lens flare system, a nifty sunlight study system, and native conversion plug-ins for 3ds Max + Maya + Softimage + others (version specific).

TacForge GeoSketch
Last updated: November 2009
TacForge GeoSketch enables SketchUp to load natively and interactively work with multiple commercial and military UAV Videos, overhead oblique images, and handheld photos (with/without camera models) to build geospecific 3D geometry with textures. Additionally GeoSketch enables Sketchup to export those new 3D models into the OpenFlight format for use in serious gaming and military simulation applications.

SimLab 3D PDF exporter
Last updated: January 2010
The SimLab 3D PDF exporter plug-in allows the user to generate high quality 3D PDF files from inside the Sketchup environment. The plugin supports the following features:

-Controlling the PDF page (Size of the page, Margins. and Back color or image of the PDF page)
-Controlling over the 3D Section (Default light to be used, Render mode, Navigation mode, and Back plate for the 3D section)
-Showing or hiding the 3D tool bar in the created 3D PDF
-Using the optional password parameter to protect generated documents
-Merging with other PDF files, this allows the user to append the generated 3D PDF file to and existing PDF file
-Adding background music to make 3D PDF more interesting
-Exporting the scenes from SketchUp. The new generated file will include all the scene views created by the user, so the recipient can navigate between the scenes easily (with optional automatic camera switching mode)
-Adding header and footer text, and selecting appropriate fonts, colors and sizes
-Supporting inserting Java Scripts, for the document and the 3D sections

i.materialise
Last updated: April 2010
The i.materialise 3D printing plugin guides you through creating a scale model of your design and preparing it for 3D printing in only 4 simple steps. The plugin provides you with simple tools to position and scale your models. You can apply textures and colors as you like as well as 3D printable models such as cars, trees or other items. The plugin is ideal if you are an architect, if you want to visualize your (future) house or interior, or if you just want to have fun in 3D modeling.

CADspan
Last updated: April 2010
The power of CADspan is the geometry resurfacer - a new approach to file preparation for 3D printing. Rather than assume that the input data has been created with a solid modeling program and the file might need repair, repositioning, slicing or scaling, CADspan simply takes the approach that what you see on your screen looks like a model that should be printable. The CADspan engine uses your geometry to perform a virtual 'shrink-wrap' and outputs an entirely new STL file that describes the exterior of your CAD file. This new STL file is a single, solid object, ready to 3D print. The plugin also provides several tools to ease the process of preparing a model for 3D printing:

-Resurfacer: Shrink wrap a model into one continuous, solid mesh
-STL Import/Export
-3D Print Visualization Style: A visual style that highlights problem areas in a model
-Layerize tool: Easily move all geometry within components and groups to a layer
-Smooth/Unsmooth: Toggle smoothing on a model's rounded geometry
-Free Version for personal use and small applications
