The Google 3D Warehouse has mechanisms for adding or removing models from collections owned either by yourself or by someone else.

Adding or removing models and collections from a collection owned by someone else

The 3D Warehouse allows you to make requests to owners of collections to make changes to their collections. This option is usually used to suggest additions (such as a model of a building that might belong in a series of buildings) to their collection, but can be used to suggest that a model or collection be removed. To suggest changes to someone else's collection:

1. Navigate to the collection where you would like to see the change.
2. Click on the contact the owner link below the thumbnail image of the collection (the owner has elected not to be contacted if you do not see this link). A send message form appears.
3. Click on the type of message in the 'Subject' field.
4. Write your suggested changes in the 'Message' field. Be sure to include a link to your model or collection in the 'Message' field.
5. Click the Send Message button. The message is sent to the collection owner.

Adding models to a collection owned by you

A collection can contain other collections and models (this is determined when you create the collection). To add a model or collection to one of your collections:

1. Navigate to the collection or model that you want to add to one of your other collections.
2. If you are adding a model to a collection:
1. Click on the "Add this model to a collection..." link below the thumbnail image of the model. A drop-down list of your collections appears.
2. Select one of your collections from the drop-down list.
3. Click on the Add button. The model is added to the collection.
3. If you are adding a collection to another collection:
1. Click on the "Add this collection to another collection..." link below the thumbnail image of the collection. A drop-down list of your collections appears.
2. Select one of your collections from the drop-down list.
3. Click on the Add button. The collection is added to the collection.

Removing models and collections from collection owned by you

A collection can contain other collections and models (this is determined when you create the collection). To remove a model or collection from one of your collections:

1. Navigate to the collection containing the collection or model you want to remove.
2. Click on the "[remove from collection]" link below the thumbnail image of the model or collection within the collection. A message appears to confirm the removal.
3. Click the OK button to remove the model or collection.
